FESTIVALS IN ISABELA PROVICE

The following are the festivals that’s been celebrate every year in the province:

  1. Baka Festival ( Carabao) – Held in January and it is said according to the sources “The festival is a fine time to see cowboys of San Pablo display skills that are reminiscent of the American Wild West.”

  2. Balatong Festival (Mungo Beans)

  3. BINNADANGAN FESTIVAL (Palay)- Held every July

  4. Gakit Festival

  1. Gawagawayan Festival – Celebrated annually on April 10-13 and Octorber 10-12. Aimed to preserve the rich cultural heritage of the city

  2. Mangi Festival

  3. Nuang Festival (Nuang Festival of San Agustin)

  4. Pagay Festival - Held annually every September 28. Festival aims to promote the primary product called Pagay ( Ilocano word for rice)

  5. PATTARADDAY FESTIVAL - held in honor of the city’s patron, Saint James the Apostle.

  6. Sabutan Festival- Held in March festival for the craftsmen who weave to make a variety of bags, hats, placemats etc.
